On the 7th of November, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Education Department conducted an onboarding session focused on guiding Anti-Doping Organization (ADO) partners through the translation review and editing process within Smartling, WADA’s preferred translation management platform. The session aimed to equip participants with the skills to effectively use Smartling for localizing anti-doping education resources, ensuring that these resources are accurately translated and culturally adapted for global audiences.

During the onboarding, WADA’s team demonstrated essential features within Smartling, such as reviewing translations, making precise edits, and ensuring consistent terminology across materials. This comprehensive overview of the translation workflow was designed to enhance the quality and accessibility of anti-doping education content, facilitating a clearer understanding for athletes and support personnel worldwide.

By providing this hands-on guidance, WADA is committed to supporting its ADO partners in delivering impactful, multilingual anti-doping education, fostering a broader reach and deeper impact in promoting clean sport.
